Hi, you! Attorneys, social justice warriors, mothers/fathers/daughters/sons — how are YOU doing?

Fine, you might say.  You may be feeling tired, angry, or a bit sensitive.  Maybe you think others have it worse and set even higher expectations for yourself.  Maybe you're wondering how you can better support someone you love during this time.

No matter how you feel, we hear you, and someone in the community feels the same way.  APABA-DC aims to provide an emotional space for our members to collectively process the recent and ongoing events with the aid of Dr. Christina Hong Huber, who is an experienced clinical psychologist working from a social justice-oriented and trauma-informed lens to provide culturally affirming and responsive therapy.  We invite you to be part of this nonjudgmental, collaborative, and healing space where we can share our experiences, be supportive of each other, and heal together.  Please email Yifang Zhao and Mary Yang at programs@apaba-dc.org with any questions.

We hear you. And our APABA-DC community is always here for you.
