The Honorable Sri Srinivasan, Chief Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit
Chief Judge Srinivasan has been praised as a “trailblazer” and is the first Indian American ever nominated and confirmed to a federal appellate court. He previously served as Principal Deputy Solicitor General of the United States and argued before the Supreme Court 25 times. He has been named one of the 50 Most Influential Minority Lawyers in America by The National Law Journal. He has taught appellate advocacy at Harvard Law School and currently teaches a seminar on civil rights statutes and the Supreme Court at Georgetown University Law Center.
